Bryan McGlothin
Bryan was kidnapped at two years old and endured decades of parental alienation by his father and finally found his mother 31 years later.
Bryan speaks publicly about his ordeal and how it has affected his life today. He has dedicated his life to educating
others about the children and adults suffering in silence due to parental abduction.
Bryan does not have a voting position in the organization.
Directors

Mary Beckman
Mary Beckman has been a science writer for more than ten years, leaving scientific research almost as soon
as she earned her doctorate in molecular biology. She has worked in both science journalism and public affairs,
as a writer and editor. As a science journalist, she covered a wide variety of topics in life sciences, including
adolescent brain development, other neuroscience, and basic research on aging. She currently works in media
relations at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
Lynn Crook
Lynn Crook has a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology.
She served as the Executive Director of the Sexual Assault Response Center in Washington State,
and is an Editor Emeritus of Treating Abuse Today. Lynn has spoken at conferences sponsored by
the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, the United Kingdom Society
for the Study of Dissociation, the American Psychological Association and the United Nations
Conference on the Status of Women.

Betty Harris
Betty Harris is a homemaker and a home school parent. She has a deep desire to ensure that
each generation grows up knowing they are loved. Having been raised in a family that stayed
together through some very hard times, taught her to appreciate even the smallest things in
life. The greatest of which is love. It is essential to life itself. She believes we need to
listen to our children, they are our future, our legacy, and they need a voice.

Ryan Slaugh
Ryan Slaugh is an engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
He travels internationally to instruct Customs Officers in China, Panama, and
Africa on Radiation Detection. Ryan serves as a mentor to students at the Lab, instructs
local high school students on public speaking, and has volunteered as a Cub Scout leader.
Ryan says his most important job is being a husband to his wife and father to his three
children.

Elizabeth Smith
Elizabeth is the Public Information Officer for Benton County Emergency Services.
She joined the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program organization in July 2009.
Elizabeth was a stay at home mom until 2003 when she became a weather fill-in for a KIMO TV in Anchorage, Alaska.
Elizabeth quickly moved into the Chief Weather Forecaster position. She has been featured on The Weather Channel
reporting on floods in Seward, Alaska in 2006. She was recruited by KEPR TV to be their Chief Weather Forecaster
in 2006. After moving out of television, Elizabeth was the Public Information Officer for ESD 123.
Moving back into television, she immersed herself in television advertising. She wrote and produced
the last two CSEPP commercials. Elizabeth has participated in 4 CSEPP exercises and was the Public Information
Officer for the recent Dry Creek Complex fires in August, 2009. She just completed the Broadcast Meteorology
Program from Mississippi State University and will graduate with her Bachelors degree on April 30, 2010.
She is married to her husband Chris and they have 5 children.
